I had the greatest opportunity to meet with the assistant editor, Christine Chatten, of The Rubber Stamper magazine (my FAVE). As soon as she saw my name badge, she instantly became excited! We got to chat about the status of the ONE Stamp Stamp Club Challenge that the OCSB entered, and they are STILL trying to decide on how to best publish the entries. . .there were over 30 clubs that submitted! Needless to say, it has been a CHALLENGE for them as well. Oh, and by the way. . .my Love and Kisses Card is published in the issue behind us! How cool is that?!?!?I also got to meet Holly Houghes, the producer of the Carol Duvall show! We happened to be standing at the same booth watching a demo. When I peeked at her name badge, I yelled out her name and told her I was a relative of one of her old college buddies in Mississippi, and she also got sooo excited! Her buddy next to her was Jane Beard, of Museum of Modern Rubber fame.Ok, I spent time at the Savvy Stamps booth the last day where Lara and Cyndi were. . .ordered some of their cute Easter & Spring stamps. I asked if they would be coming down to Carson in March, but found out NO. Reason? Lara is preggers with her first child! She then said because of this, she will refer all the local stampers to see me at Debra's! Hooray!I also ran into some of you stampers throughout the show. . .hey there, Cyndi, Bryan, Sandy, Kat, Donna, Betty, Claire & Ralph, Alma from The Cat's PJ!!Time for a break. Happy SuperBowl Sunday.
I fell in love with these as soon as I saw them! I spoke with the owner of this company and she outright sold me all 6 that she had in stock. I didn't want to tote them around all day, but it was the best thing to do so that no one else would grab them. . .fortunately, my pilot case accommodated them nicely. I now have them for sale at Debra's (clothing accessories not included!). It is considered the most ergonomic and safest heat tool around (and CUTEST!).
